Meet the staff at our school!

Teachers at Airy Hill Community Primary School

Mr J Lidgley is the Headteacher. He teaches throughout the schoool and is the Subject Leader for P.E. and PSHCE. He is the Designated Senior Person (DSP) for Child Protection. He also runs the Y 3 / 4 Boys and KS2 Girls Football Club.

Mr C Fox is the Deputy Headteacher and Year 6 Class teacher. He is also Subject Leader for ICT and is the Deputy Designated Senior Person for Child Protection. He also runs the Boys Y 5 / 6 Football Club.

Mrs S Wilson is the Year 5 teacher. She is the Subject Leader for Numeracy and is the Assessment Coordinator throughout the school.

Miss Worthington is the Year 4 teacher and is the Subject Leader for Literacy throughout the school. She also runs the Gymnastics Club.

Miss Davison is the Year 3 teacher and is the Subject Leader for Science throughout the school. She also runs the Gymnastics Club.

Mrs Crossan is the Year 2 / 1 teacher and is the Key Stage 1 Team Leader and is the Subject Leader for History and Geography throughout the school.

Mrs Mortimer is the Year 1 teacher and is Subject Leader for Music throughout the school and also runs the Choir and Recorder Groups.

Miss Wright and Mrs Swiers teach the Early Years Foundation Stage Class as a job share. Mrs Swiers is the subject Leader for Design Technology throughout the school and Miss Wright is Subject Leader for Art. 

Mr Crossan teaches 2 days a week in school and is Subject Leader for R.E.

Mr Meynell is the Special Educational Needs Coordinator.
