Meet the staff at our school!

Teachers at Airy Hill Community Primary School

Mr J Lidgley is the Headteacher. He teaches throughout the school and helps with the Football Club and runs the Athletics Club. He is also the subject leader for P.E. and PSHCE.

Mr C Fox is the Deputy Headteacher and Year 6 Class teacher. He is also Subject Leader for I.C.T. and Science throughout the school. He also runs the Football Club.

Mrs S Wilson is the Year 5 teacher. She is the Subject Leader for Numeracy throughout the school.

Mrs J Collinson is the Year 4 teacher and is the Subject Leader for Literacy Throughout the school. She also runs the Gymnastics Club.

Mrs Hill and Mr Crossan teach Year 3 as a job share. Mrs Hill is the Subject Leader for Art and RE throughout the school. Mr Crossan is the Subject Leader for Geography.

Mrs G Wilkin teaches Year 2 , is the Key Stage 1 Team Leader and is the Special Educational Needs Coordinator for the school. She also runs the Morris and Sword Dance Clubs.

Mrs Crossan teaches Year 1 C and is subject leader for History throughout the school.

Mrs Mortimer teaches Year 1 M and is subject leader for Music throughout the school and also runs the Choir and Recorder Groups.

Miss Wright and Mrs Swiers teach the Early Years Class as a job share. Mrs Swiers is the subject Leader for Design Technology throughout the school. Miss Wright is currently on maternity leave and Miss Worthington is teaching in our Reception Class.
